June 8 ~ World Oceans Day

It is the middle of Shop Hop, so we cannot exactly close the shop and head out on a cruise.

Though, admittedly, some days that does sound tempting.

And since we do not have a really big lake nearby — let alone an ocean — we will have to celebrate World Oceans Day the best way we know how:

with fabric.

In honor of World Oceans Day, we are putting our Manatee Panel on sale.

This is a beautiful ocean-themed panel featuring gentle manatees in a peaceful underwater scene. We originally brought in a good number of these panels with the idea of doing a Stack-N-Whack class.

That class never quite happened.

So now, our unfinished plan is your opportunity.

Flirt had a real problem with this one.

She is not exactly a cat person…
or more accurately, she is not a cat dog.

Her opinion is that cats are for chasing, especially when they scurry up trees.

We explained that Indiana Quilt Depot cannot discriminate against cats without risking the wrath of PETC — People for the Ethical Treatment of Cats… or something like that.

Flirt was not moved.

Then we explained that a sale might help clear out the cat panels.

That got her attention.
