Our outdoor shows have become one of our favorite traditions because they bring collectors of all ages together — from longtime hobby veterans to kids opening their very first packs.

This year’s May show is our SUMMER KICKOFF edition, and we’re excited to combine the energy of both shops into one massive hobby weekend.

A customer who purchased a box of 2024-25 The Cup Hockey from us LAST YEAR finally stopped back in yesterday to show us what was inside… A TRUE 1/1 Macklin Celebrini Autographed Rookie Masterpieces Cyan Printing Plate from The Cup. 🦈✍️

Not only is Celebrini the future face of the Sharks franchise, but another color version of this exact card recently sold for $3,800 USD. This is exactly why people chase The Cup.

You never know what’s sitting inside a sealed box… or in someone’s collection months later waiting to resurface. Huge congrats again to the customer on an absolutely insane hit pulled from a box purchased at The SportsRoom! 🙌

For the past year, we’ve been at the shop most Mondays restocking, reorganizing, and honestly… keeping the door unlocked for anyone who stopped by.

A lot of you figured that out, and over the last few months, Mondays quietly turned into an “unofficial open day.” That wasn’t something we planned — it just kind of happened organically.

But as we continue growing (and with Denis now over at The Card Guild full-time), we’ll be shifting staff hours to cover Saturdays — which means Mondays are officially becoming a true day off again for both shops.

We appreciate everyone who stopped in on those “off-the-clock” Mondays. Seriously — it meant a lot and helped more than you probably realize.

Going forward:
🛑 Both The SportsRoom & The Card Guild will be CLOSED on Mondays

We’ll be back Tuesday fully stocked and ready. Thanks as always for supporting what we’re building here — it’s only getting better. 🙌
