“Floor of the Week”

Part 1

Recently we had the privilege of working on the floors in this beautiful historic home. So much craftsmanship went into this whole house, not just the flooring. Due to this job being more unique we felt it deserved a two part posting; with ‘the before’ being part one this week and ‘the after’ being part two next week. This week’s post shows the little sanding that we had to do to this floor. Next week we will post the final steps and final product.

This floor had been sanded in the past by someone that was not totally competent in properly sanding a floor. We gave it the extra effort and got it back down to flat and even more beautiful. This was prior to the final coat.
