Truth be told, I've never purchased a vintage piece without wanting it for myself. Any item on Country Mouse is typically offered only because it isn't quite my size or perfect fit. What this means is the inventory here has a certain aesthetic, a specific taste; and unlike a thrift store I won't offer just anything qualifying as vintage. You won't find a sequined pant suit with giant shoulder pads

and peg legs on Country Mouse. What you can expect are down-to-earth, classic, versatile looks. Preppy, classy, sexy, sassy - but rarely tacky and never trashy.
