The Port of Call Museum store in Beaufort, NC is temporarily closed due to construction/renovation at the Maritime Museum. An online store will be available in January 2025 where we will offer our wide variety of maritime-themed gifts and merchandise for all ages, including Blackbeard items, other pirate gear for the kids, a splendid book store, fine art, jewelry, hats & T's, foods, toys, Christmas ornaments, decoys, boat models and much more!

Our 4th Annual Boat Shoes & Bow Ties Gala, Auction and Fundraiser, is just a little more than a week away! Join us June 13th, 6:30pm at the Watercraft Center and Harborside Park deck for our biggest fundraiser of the year and the best party of the summer! Don't wait, get your tickets before we sell out!

Sponsorships are still available, as well, so please consider sponsoring of our celebration! We have several opportunities available, each with its own perks, including preferred parking on a Friday night and the sponsor-only "Bubbles & Bivalves" pre-party.

This year we are also offering a special sponsor-only auction for a prized piece of themed coastal artwork by the great local artist Sydnor Greene of SALT Gallery Morehead! Sydnor's oyster paintings are well known and treasured throughout Carteret County and beyond, and we thank her for donating her time and talents in support of our special event!

Our 4th Annual Boat Shoes & Bow Ties Gala, Auction and Fundraiser, is a just 2 weeks away! Join us June 13th, 6:30pm at the Watercraft Center and Harborside Park deck for our biggest fundraiser of the year and the best party of the summer! Don't wait, get your tickets before we sell out!

This year, our guests will enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres catered by Seaside Sensations, 2 full bars, inside and out, featuring this year's signature drink: Margaritas (it's 5 o'clock somewhere, right?!) by Sassy Spirits, dancing under the stars and in the Watercraft Center, the always popular Live Auction filled with treasures both local and beyond, and a Silent Auction, too. And don’t forget the fun of seeing how your friends and neighbors embrace the party theme – bow ties & boat shoes – with their creative attire for the evening. This signature event is always a special night for you, our Friends!

Anyone who spends time in Beaufort knows about the beauty of the Rachel Carson Reserve. But if you want to learn more about the woman herself- marine biologist, writer, and environmentalist- we can suggest “Silent Spring and Other Writings on the Environment”, which includes her most famous work and serves as a great introduction, and “Who was Rachel Carson?”, which is written for younger readers but provides a wealth of information for anyone getting acquainted with her life and story.
