As most of you have heard we will be closing our doors in the next few months. Please be patient and kind with us as we work through schedules and transitions. There is still time if anyone is interested in purchasing the turn key store and business. Below are some tentative updates:
1 - We will be taking online orders until midnight Sept 30.
2 - The last day the store will be open is October 29. We still have the store front up until the end of November and I will be in there until the week of Thanksgiving working on some wedding and custom orders.
3- We are selling almost everything in the store so if you want to stop in and take a look feel free. You can provide a bid and most items can be picked up Nov 1.
Thanks to everyone who put all the generous orders in upon our initial announcement! We are working hard to fill them all as quickly as possible . We are so thankful for each and every one of you who have helped build and share all that we are❤️❤️

With many challenges thrown our way this last year we have decided to close our store and the business as a whole. This chapter in our lives has offered so many learning experiences, introduced us to amazing people that inspired and embraced us, and allowed us the opportunity to educate and create awareness about what it means to use natural soap. We will be open through October(we will provide the closing date once we know it as we literally just made this decision) so feel free to stock up. We are a bit unsure as to whether we will continue the online business as we don’t have a space for that at the moment. But we will keep everyone posted. We also do have the business up for sale if you know anyone interested. Thank you to each and everyone who has touched our lives by just stepping into our store or finding us online. This was a really tough decision for us but we needed to just wait to see what unfolded in the last few months to make a decision. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Yesterday I went for a run and as I arrived at the top of the last peak and began my descent, I realized I was approaching a new beginning, a new chapter. Many things have changed over the last few months that have brought me to this point. Most of my career has been spent in advertising and marketing. Nourish started as a hobby used to help combat the stress and anxiety caused by fertility treatments and just overall life seven years ago. We gave the product away and people wanted to buy it. We created a website making it easier to order and it reached even more people. And now we have a store where the experience continues to evolve invoking their senses, relaxing their minds, and nourishing their souls. This year my husband’s employment status also changed. So we needed to pivot with the unwelcome change. As some of you may know I have been studying for my real estate exam. And I passed! This Monday I started going through a rigorous five week training program. You may have noticed that I have not been as present in the store, at least during normal business hours and my posts have been less frequent. John has been helping fill in when I am not available and we will be hiring some people in the next few months. Nourish has grown because of each of you who has lifted me up when I was down, brought your friends/family into our store, posted on social or posted a review, gifted our products to someone, raved about our products to someone, anyone, and for those of you who have placed special orders for your special occasions. Please be patient with us as we start to restructure a bit. Nourish is a place where I poured all my love and energy during an uncertain time and I am in awe of all the love and nourishment that was reciprocated from all of you. We are so grateful for each and every one of you.

Not just one day but all days must belong to women. March 8th marks the International Women’s Day. The day began to be celebrated when 15,000 women marched through New York City calling for shorter hours, higher pay, and the opportunity to vote in 1908. A year later, the first National Woman’s Day was proclaimed by the Socialist Party of America. Over the years, International Women’s Day is celebrated in many countries around the world.

Women’s Day is a reminder to celebrate the beautiful women in your life. But it is also a reminder that gender inequality still prevails in the patriarchal society we live in. It recognizes women’s incredible achievements, raises awareness and encourages others to advocate for gender equality, bringing attention to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women.

I cannot give enough appreciation and love to all of you who supported us throughout this holiday season and always!

You filled my days with so much soap making that forced me to stay present and out of my own head. Which I have to admit made it hard to keep with social posts.

Sometimes life is hard, and this year was a struggle for us. Loved ones were taken away, expectations were not met, and promises were broken. Times like these help us remember that we don’t always have control or a crystal ball. Anything can change at any moment so we must remain thankful and open to the flow of the universe and what is to come. I am getting much better at understanding, as I get older, that any one of these moments is a lesson and/or a disruption to remind you to pay attention to what our body, mind or soul needs.

You are an essential piece of the continued growth of this little soap brand. I could hardly keep up with the volume this year! This past year also reminded me of why I started making soap in the first place, to escape the stress of daily life. If you know our story, you know that I had a stressful career in advertising and was going through fertility treatments.
I felt used up and was not taking care of myself. Making soap allowed me that moment of peace where my mind was quieted and my hands were in motion. And most importantly, it helped me to see the positivity and refocus that self-care provides. Which is something I want to give each of you through our products and interactions.
