Hello Alps Chocolate Fans!
Regardless of what rumors and/or gossip is floating around the Country (we have recieved calls from all over,from California to Boston and beyond!)
THE ALPS IS NOT CLOSING/GOING OUT OF BUSINESS!
Sally and Terry are nearing retirement and are "testing the waters" with regard to selling The Alps business and property. There is no authorized story or accounting to the owners plans other than the listing with Berkshire Hathaway. Any sale IF it should happen would not jeopardize or interrupt the sales or production of Alps chocolates. The Charkalis/Craft families are humbled and appreciative beyond words for 101+ years of patronage and community support and will continue to work hard to maintain the standards their customers demand and appreciate.
