"If we could be here more we would be!" 

We love all the repeat, three-peat, and DAILY visitors that we get and we promise that we never take for granted our role in providing a safe, fun, and fair space for all types of geeks. This week was punctuated by the INSANE hits from our One Piece release events but the positive vibes around the manga wall and excitement for the Marvel Midnight ashcans was palpable. If you're adding all three to your pull list, you are FAR from the only one. 

The staff also appreciates all the visits, treats, and tips or offers of tips. Nothing is ever expected but you sure know how to make us feel special!

Any week with Absolute Batman and a new magic set to draft was already set up to be a great one but we also had a double release to kick of Super-family crossover Kingdom of Zod as well as the X-men 97 finale to discuss! There are still a few weeks left of summer but we've got the AC blasting for your comic and card needs!

This week’s big new release from DC comes the follow-up to last years hit maxi series with Batman and Robin: Year One - Dynamic Duos #1!

Batman and Robin are back in action! The Dark Knight and the Boy Wonder have been hard at work cleaning up the streets of Gotham City, and their partnership has only gotten tighter. But when a gang of street kids starts causing mischief, Batman and Robin will need to get to the bottom of where these kids came from and who is in charge! Mark Waid and Chris Samnee return to Gotham to tell another tale of the early days of the Dynamic Duo!

This week brings us the first chapter of the Superman Family Crossover ‘Kingdom of Zod’ starting with Supergirl #16!

The Kryptonite Kingdom of El Caldero has been taken over by General Zod! Supergirl gathers her own super-force to infiltrate the Kingdom! Superboy-Prime, Conner Kent, Tomorrow Man, Lois Lane, Steel, Lana Lang, Natasha Irons, Princess Shark, and more of Supergirl's wild cast! But before they can remove Zod from power, he unleashes a dangerous new force... What is the K-Zone?! 

And part 2 of Kingdom of Zod kicks off in Action Comics #1101!

This week on the indie side of things from Ignition Press comes Cult-de-sac #1!

Whether you're a Manifest OG or just moving to the area, we strive to be a welcoming third space for geeks of all stripes! Magic's Hobbit and Batman dominated the sales charts but there was something for everyone this week.

This week on the indie side of things comes Chachu #1!

1979. Leila, a 19-year-old Pakistani-Canadian girl, stands on the cusp of adulthood, eager to experience the “real world” for the first time. With a head full of Hollywood dreams and a penchant for pulp novels, she ventures to California to connect with her estranged uncle — her "Chachu" — a middle-aged, semi-retired private eye who gained brief fame after marrying the starlet he was initially hired to find. But when Chachu’s wife goes missing once again, the two are forced on an impromptu road trip to track her down — with Leila navigating young adulthood and Chachu confronting his own mortality and regrets.

Inspired by her own coming-of-age experiences in the entertainment industry, Chachu is the solo writing debut of superstar Iman Vellani, a reinterpretation of the classic neo-noir private investigator story brilliantly illustrated by Marianna Ignazzi and colored by Jordie Bellaire.

This week’s from DC is the Superman 2026 Annual: Year One Thousand #1!

At the end of DC K.O., Superman became King Omega with the powers of a god. But after pushing Darkseid back to the Absolute World, Superman rejected the Heart of Apokolips... and went missing. Now the story of where he went can be told! The future was infected by Darkseid and his Legion — leaving a trail of death and disaster in their wake — including the Legion of Super-Heroes. Now Superman is using Time Trapper's powers to heal the future and correct the damage that has been done. But Superman's godlike powers are fading fast, and he may become lost at the end of time!
