Update on IRENE!
We were able to track down her owner with some help from the community and reunite them. Irene made her way all the way from the neighboring town of west Islip and was gone for five days until she latched on to my shoe and walked in the store with me.

This was a very heartwarming way to spend my day even though it busted up all plans I had for the day 🤣

This is my new friend that really liked my shoes. Anyone missing a pet parakeet? He doesn’t seem to fly and was getting blown around on the ground outside so I invited him in for a drink of water and now he climbed up and is perched with some dinosaurs.
