🌼follow the rule of 3 when planting your spring annuals 🌸

You need 3 types of flowers: a thriller, filler, and spiller.
•
For your thrillers choose something with height! Plant these either in the middle of back of your container depending on where it will be viewed from! We chose grass spikes in this planter.
•
Fillers should be something cheap and colorful that will grow fast and ‘fill up’ all the space. We did a mix of petunias and violas here!
•
Finally, spillers are plants that grow out and ‘spill over’ the sides of your container. Plant these right around the edges! We chose creeping Jenny!
