On the grounds of Cypress Springs Mercedarian Prayer Center, inside the Chapel of Divine Mercy, our Milagro sash has become filled with thousands of milagros. These sacred offerings represent countless prayers, hopes, healings, and intentions placed with faith over the years.
The milagros from this sash will be carefully preserved, and prayers will continue for all who have placed a milagro in the past. This beautiful golden sash hangs across the crucifix in the Chapel of Divine Mercy as a visible reminder of God’s mercy and the prayers of His people.
Please watch until the end as Sister Dulce Maria hangs the very first milagro on our third sash and shares a special prayer.

As we begin making plans to replace our sash, we’d like to share a little about milagros.

Milagros are a physical expression of prayer. These small devotional medals are available here in the gift shop, and many people bring them into the chapel to pin onto the sash wrapped around the crucifix.

Each medal represents a special intention. They come in many different shapes, each symbolizing a particular prayer—whether it be for healing, guidance, protection, or thanksgiving.

After placing your milagro, you are also invited to fill out a prayer intention card and leave it here in the chapel.

We look forward to sharing our next video with you, where we will begin our new sash.
