Something wicked is coming to the stage next month as UpStage Theatre presents the 1954 thrillerThe Bad Seed by Maxwell Anderson April 6-7. Performances will be at UpStage Theatre located at Cortana Mall (9401 Cortana Place) on Saturday, April 6 at 3:00pm and 7:00pm; and Sunday, April 7 at 3:00pm. Tickets are $22 general admission seating with discounts available for groups. Tickets can be purchased via the website: www.upstagetheatre.biz or at the door.

The Bad Seedby Maxwell Anderson tells the story of a seemingly perfect little girl, Rhoda Penmark who is able to charm her way into getting almost anything she wants. However, when she loses a competition at school to a classmate, he mysteriously disappears during a class trip the following week. Christine, Rhoda's Mother begins to suspect that Rhoda is not quite as perfect as she seems. The tension and suspense build as Christine learns more about her daughter than she ever wanted to know. The Bad Seed is based on the best-selling novel by William March and adapted into an Oscar-nominated 1956 film.
