DIY Disco is an arts and crafts bar where you and your closest friends can uncover your artistic side and create modern home decor and goods while sipping specialty cocktails. Skip the hassle of preparation & clean-up and follow the call of the disco ball. Your creative instructor will help you design a handcrafted product that you’ll be excited to take home. With a rotating selection of more than

20 projects, you choose what best fits your taste, lifestyle, and budget. The DIY Disco bar will open with a "Complete the Drink" BYOB policy featuring signature mocktails and seasonal mixes with a groovy flair. Guests may bring a selection of wine, beer, or liquor. Owner Chloe McMahon plans to expand into a full-service bar by the close of 2022. While reservations are preferred, walk-in customers are welcome. Host private events for large groups and parties.

After much deliberation, I am sad to announce that DIY Disco will be closing at the end of November. This post feels so surreal to write, because it strays so far from what I’ve been working on for the past 5 years of my life. I’ve loved what we created for the Baton Rouge community, and have had a hell of a time running the disco, but it is time for this groovy season to come to an end.
 
Thank you to everyone who came in and crafted with us these past two years. I hope you have special memories of creating art and finding community in this space, which was always the goal from the very beginning. It was such a blessing to bring you joy. Thank you to everyone that supported us regularly, promoted us, or even just told us how much you appreciated our existence. Those were always the best parts of our days. 
 
DIY Disco will be for sale this month, so if you’re interested in purchasing the business, please contact [email protected].
 
Join us for one last disco hurrah! White Light Night will be our final night open! We would love to serve you a cocktail on Friday, Nov 22nd from 6-10 pm.
 
We will be open for normal business hours until White Light Night.
