The Book Shop is back to normal hours this weekend. Saturday 8-4 and Sunday 12-4.

The Book Shop is closed today, May 17th, for my daughter's high school graduation. I've heard it said so many times but I didn't believe it; time does fly by too quickly. A fact I've become quite aware of. Please remember to be present in each moment. You don't get another chance with it.

The Farmers' Market returns this Saturday. Going forward The Book Shop will be open 8-4 on Saturdays and 12-4 on Sundays. This Sunday May 17th the shop will be closed for my daughter's high school graduation.

For your consideration,
The Righteous Mind by Jonathan Haidt has been one of the more enlightening books I've read over the past few years. My main fascination is our process of thought. Learning about this process has helped me to step back from all the noise and understand that we are products of our flawed reasoning. No, I do not have a copy but I encourage you to stop at any bookshop, large or small, and pick up this book.
