will feel a little different for me.
For the first time, I won’t be spending Mother’s Day with at least one of my children. And my mom is too far away to visit.

John and I will go to brunch, and then… the rest of the day is wide open. I’m not quite sure how I feel about that yet.

I think motherhood is full of these bittersweet seasons — learning to hold gratitude and longing at the same time.

But what’s carrying me through is knowing that in just a few days, I’ll be heading to San Francisco to meet and love on my brand new grandbaby. And honestly… my heart already feels a little fuller because of it. 💙💙

It’s amazing how connections happen! Ellen purchased Cosanila at the Newport Flower Show last summer and later ordered online. Now, the Shreveport Garden Study Club has invited us to sell at their market tomorrow after Ellen mentioned finding us at the show. Best decade ever! But I could have done without the 90’s jeans. Still not a fan. Working on films, traveling the world, my wedding and lots of friends’ weddings. All of that inspiration has lead me to where Cosanila is today. I will forever be inspired by travel, art and nature.

We’re beginning the search for our next **Cosanila summer pop-up home** 🤍

Because Cape Cod is beautifully seasonal, we’re ideally looking for a space May–September, with the dream being through the end of December.

We’d love to explore:
• Taking over a hotel shop or boutique space
• A shop-within-a-shop in one of the Cape’s charming downtowns
• Or a creative, unexpected space that feels special and story-worthy

Cosanila is all about Cape Cod meets Jaipur — effortless coastal style, hand-block printed pieces, and a warm, elevated shopping experience that feels right at home by the sea.
