Know what you’re buying. This picture has store beef(left), and farm beef(right). There is an obvious visible difference between the two! But the differences don’t stop there!
1. You may notice in the picture the color difference. The store bought is pumped full of additives and water. There isn’t a guarantee of where that beef came from either. Yes, it may have USDA label on it but as long as that animal was packaged in the US, it can be called a Product of the USA. The meat in the package is not from one single cow, rather scraps from multiple cows. It could have came from Argentina, Canada, or Brazil.
2. The beef on the right is darker and is farm raised beef. It is filled with more nutrients & flavor. The ground is also from one cow and not just scraps from multiple cows.
3. Buying your beef from a local Farmer/Rancher you are helping to buy a little girl dance shoes or a little boy baseball gear. Buying from the store just lines the pockets of the already wealthy meat packers. Let’s help each other. We help you eat healthy, you help us provide for our families.
Buy from a local ranch/farm!
If you’re feeding your dog raw, know the difference between store bought and farm to table meat selection whether it’s chicken, goat, or beef.
Sometime in 2023 we will be offering a Membership for select clients to receive monthly shipment of our select made to order raw dog food. In the short run it is more expensive than kibble…in the long run with the reduced health issues, longer life and reduced clean up raw is the way to go for your dog.
Hunters Creek Retrievers embraced the raw diet for our dogs 5 years ago after two years of extensive research and testing.
The reality is… KIBBLE IS MADE FOR SHELF LIFE! No matter the price, premium label etc. kibble in no way has the nutritional value God intended for your animal. There is a reason the lifespan of dogs has decreased over the last 30 years. What goes in a dogs diet impacts their health, quality life and lifespan. You wouldn’t feed your kids are straight diet of boxes cereal, would you? So, why do that with your dog.
Ask about our dog food membership and homeopathic dog health products soon to launch. RANCHERS RUFF GOURMET! Membership only, premium raw dog food.

P.S. NEVER feed your dog cooked bones. Cooking dries out the bone making it brittle and prone to cracking and splintering, additionally it can’t be digested and has zero nutritional value for your dog. Cooked bones can cause serious injury or even death for your dog.
Also, don’t buy bones from the grocery store, most are shipped in from China and filled with chemicals.
THERE IS AMMONIA IN YOUR BEEF!
