Pro Libris Bookshop, established by proprietor Eric Furry in 1980, is located just off the corner of Third & Union Streets in Bangor, Maine, with over 35,000 books well-organized in dozens of categories.

New store hours: As of June 1st, 2025, in order to spend more time with Vera at our house on the coast, I will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 10am to 4pm & closed Sunday through Tuesday. However, I'm always happy to open almost any other time that you want me to.

Pro Libris Bookshop, just off the corner of Union & 3rd in Bangor, Maine, was established in 1980 by proprietor Eric Furry. Our inventory of over 30,000 current & out of print paperbacks & hardcovers is meticulously arranged in dozens of categories in a clean, well-lighted place.
