Effective 9/12, Sugar is permanently closed. Our web store will remain open until 9/30. We’d greatly appreciate any business you are able to throw our way in that time.

If you have a gift certificate, you are able to use it on our website www.sugartheshop.com until 9/30 at which point we will have to take our website down.

In order to use a gift certificate, please email [email protected] for a code.

We are not doing enough business to pay rent at our current location. Under the terms of the lease addendum signed in an attempt to save the business during the pandemic, moving is not an option. Closing is our only realistic option. Unfortunately, the same terms require closing the website as well.

We are deeply grateful to our community for supporting us over the past 16 years. We are going to miss you!!

Hi all - we need some folks to help us out this weekend during HonFest!
We need two folks each day to stand or sit at the door & pass out masks to customers as they come in.

Hon Fest is happening next weekend.
And we’re looking for some folks to help out.
We’ll have two shifts each day.
Your job will be to stand outside the door, greet folks, pass out masks for folks who need them, & ask folks to wait when the store gets too full.

In order to do this, you need to be able to stand or sit outside in the heat (we’ll supply water), and have the ability to interact calmly & patiently with all kinds of folks.

In return we’ll love you forever & hook you up with some swag!

Hi all - big news for Sugar! We are starting a nonprofit called Sugar Education and Welllness (SEW). SEW will provide pleasure based education and behavioral health services for the community, Sugar, and professionals.

SEW will run the store as a for profit subsidiary.

We have a great founding board set up and are looking for a few more members - if you know any medical providers or attorneys that you think would be a good match, please send them my way!

We are excited to share our big news! We’re starting a nonprofit.

SEW will provide pleasure based s3x and relationship education & behavioral health services for the community, in the store and to professionals.

Jacq, who owns Sugar, will be donating the store to SEW. SEW will run Sugar as a for profit subsidiary.
