Our top tea today was hojicha at the Greater Goods Market & True Chesapeake summer market!

It's a crowd pleaser roasted green tea I heard someone today happily describe as "kinda grassy chocolate milk" after coming back for a second hojicha latte.

And at his stand, you can get a free 10g sample of Kyobancha when you buy a pack of matcha cookies! The perfect combination of tea and cookies.

Kyobancha is a roasted green tea made from leaves matured over winter and is a specialty tea local to Kyoto that will pair deliciously with any cookie.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by for another great market at !

Today our top latte (other than matcha the forever favorite) was hojicha. Roasted bancha with smokey, chocolate, and vanilla notes ground into powder and whisked just like matcha. Low in caffeine, perfect for any time of day.

The top tea was wakoucha this week. A rare Japanese black tea I'm so happy folks are enjoying.

We'll be back in 2 weeks with more Japanese tea! And you can order loose leaf online to pick up for free at the market as well.

Another beautiful day at !

Today's top tea was the wakoucha, followed closely by hojicha. Wakoucha is a Japanese black tea, somewhat rare and very uniquely Japanese compared to other black teas.
