We had the opportunity to buy Chris Strachwitz collection of 45s and we couldn’t pass it up.

Chris devoted his life to being a “song catcher”, and an advocate for under appreciated regional music.

We’re proud to be entrusted with this large cache of music, and look forward to ensuring it ends up fascinating generations to come.

Hey Baltimore, Were you there?

The Beatles only visit to Baltimore was September 13th 1964. Two fans attempted to have themselves delivered to the concert in a large box labelled ‘Beatles fan mail’. They didn’t make it in the gates, unfortunately.

Would love to hear some memories from this magical day in Baltimore history.
