Around the Way Parchment is a full-service stationery design firm on a mission to strengthen your interpersonal relationships one piece of paper at a time. ATWP serves as the 'envelope' encouraging stronger connections and deeper relationships. Inspired by the constraints of stay-at-home orders during the pandemic, creator Krystal Henry understood just how important personal connection was and saw traditional means, such as phone calls and mailing greeting cards, to strengthening relationships. It is because of that reason Henry created typography-forward designs that connected to African American and popular culture.

What started as a email I used to pitch an idea 1 year ago led to this moment 💌⁣

Special thanks to The Arc Prince George’s County for including a Guided Journaling Session for the caregivers during the annual Caregivers Retreat. ⁣
⁣
Every detail was so thoughtfully executed to make this a day extra special for each caregiver. And time to deepen their self connections through journaling was time well spent. Each caregiver went home with a journal, 4 guided prompts, and an encouragement card designed by Around the Way Parchment | Greeting Cards 💌⁣

It’s National Black Business Month!⁣

I’ll let you in on a little secret- I never set out to be an entrepreneur. In fact, I argued with friends one day that, “everyone doesn’t want to be an entrepreneur.” ⁣

What I didn’t realize then is the seeds of spotting problems, taking financial and personal risks, and building solutions was already in me. ⁣
