Quick note about dies, embossing folders, plates and the machines

Dies/folders = often cross-compatible.
Plates/platforms = stick with your machine manufacturer's system.

Creative Memories dies and embossing folders may work in other brands of manual die-cutting machines. You may need to adjust your machine's normal sandwich or use a shim to get the correct pressure.

For plates and platforms, use the ones recommended for your specific machine. Creative Memories plates are designed to create the correct sandwich and pressure in the Creative Memories machine; they aren't intended as replacement plates for a Big Shot, Spellbinders, etc.
