I'm overflowing with gratitude for the incredible friends and family who joined me today to help pack up the Nook. I was convinced it would require a hundred trips to empty it, but these wonderful community members arrived with trucks and trailers, and we managed to clear out 90% of the store.
I’m going to miss this place. Everything from Boozy Bookclub to the Bike Share program. This was the place where all ages could come and gather to play chess and have meaningful conversations.
To me, it wasn’t just a bookstore, or just a bar. I called this place home for the last four years. I met the most incredible people here. Memories I will cherish for a lifetime! Be prepared for some sappy, ugly cry type of posts over the next few weeks.
