The dahlia blooms have been rolling in over the last two weeks and we are just getting started!

After traveling to teach last week, I’m back in the studio and field which means bouquets are headed to Fox & the Fig tomorrow (Thursday) morning!

A promising ‘26 dahlia seedling. This first bloom is a little bug nibbled but the color and qualities of this bloom are ✨💯✨. The color is a dusky salmon pink. Its seed parent is Orange Globe but this plant is twice the height of OG and a smaller bloom size.

It’s been a busy few weeks getting summer annuals transplanted and harvesting late spring blooms! Dahlia planting is almost wrapped up and more eucalyptus seedlings went in the ground today, just as the sun finally broke through the clouds. Eucalyptus is the first crop sown every year in January and it always feels so good to get the seedlings into the ground. 🌱🌞

Just three particularly cute ranunculus. 🥹

I really thought for a minute there during the early spring heat wave that it wouldn’t be a great ranunculus year. Thankfully, with the cooler weather recently, they’ve been hitting their stride and sending out beautiful blooms.

These three, along with so many anemone, are going into jar arrangements that will be available tomorrow at the Mother’s Day Market at Tractor with and . See my last post for more info! 12-4pm!

Maria of , Stacey with community collaboration and I will be setup at Tractor for a fun afternoon celebrating moms and mom figures! Come by and say hello and treat mom (or anyone!) to handmade ice cream, locally grown flowers, and make a fun craft!
