What makes crazy times better, celebrations more special,, a tough day a lite better, for me it is flowers. I
made up some fun little arrangements with my fresh flowers and brought them to the lovely Local in downtown Bakersville.

Good news for last minute Valentine's Day shoppers and an exciting announcement! Local in Bakersville now has a limited amount of our tiny dryed floral arrangements. Also in spring when our fresh flowers are available Just Local will be our in town pick up spot. I am estimating our first flowers will be available around the end of March. We will be doing special order arrangements, floral crowns and bulk buckets of flowers, all grown on our farm in Bakersville.

I was running low on soil when I was getting these elderberry cuttings started so I used mushroom compost, look what I got!

Here is a sample of what is blooming on our farm right now! Moving forward this growing season I have decided to scale back the amount of flowers I will be growing and focus more on growing food. I will still be growing some flowers, but will have a limited quantity. I would love to provide flowers, arrangements, and floral crows for your special occasion and celebrations when it is safe to do so. Matt and I will be working with Just Local in Bakersville to safely get our farm products to you.
