Happy Labor Day Weekend! We're taking some time off next week!

We want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to our community for the tremendous support we've received since the Covid-19 pandemic changed our lives. Because our physical activities became restricted due to closures of our pools, fitness centers and reduced social gatherings, those conditions created a huge void. Fortunately, riding your bikes brought some much needed stress relief and fresh air, compliments of our beautiful spring weather. Some of those bikes needed TLC and luckily we could help get them back up in good working order or find a new one to suite your needs. We worked tirelessly to get those bikes repaired, ordered and assembled.
Now it's time for the staff at B.I.Cycle to enjoy the last vestiges of our summer with some much needed time off.
We will be closed Monday 9/7 through Tuesday 9/15. Reopening on Wednesday 9/16.
Stay well and safe, and above all, keep riding!

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFO
Specialized Bicycles has issued a Stop Ride notice for certain 2019 & 2020 model Sirrus bikes. See below for the models included and other helpful information. We will be able to resolve this ASAP when Specialized informs us of how to proceed.
We know this comes at a very inopportune time, but your safety is our priority. Please stop riding your bicycle if it's on the list and get in touch with us.

Sirrus Crank Stop Ride:

If you own a 2019 or 2020 Sirrus or Sirrus X with two-piece slotted cranks, please stop riding your bike. There may be a safety concern with your cranks.

IMPORTANT UPDATE TO SHOP HOURS

We are so fortunate to be able to be open for business and help you get outdoors on your bikes. Thank you, Governor Inslee, for including bicycle shops in the category of essential work forces. We recognize that we are part of a large community and feel strongly about our responsibility to that community. There is nothing like riding a bicycle to get some fresh air, clear the mind and enjoy the less-traveled roads we are currently experiencing.

One of the circumstances of the current demands of being part of that essential work force is that we are overwhelmed with the repairs and sales that have happened in this past month. It has been wonderful to have so many Island and Kitsap County riders bring in their bikes for repairs. We have been working overtime and on our days off to keep up with the demand, thinking this was a short-term push we needed to get through. But we're still not able to keep up, we've run out of space to store bikes waiting to be fixed and we don't want to disappoint our patrons with longer than a 2 weeks lead time.

To give us time to catch up, B.I.Cycle Shop will be temporarily closed to walk-in traffic from Monday 5/18 through Tuesday 5/26. We will reopen on Wednesday, 5/27 at noon. This Sunday 5/17 is the last day for over a week to visit the shop.

Repairs already at the shop and new bikes ordered and test rides will be worked on and we will call to arrange time for you to come to the shop when they are finished.
