First ever turkey for Rich gets him hooked for life! Watched him fly off the roost this morning and strut his way in. Best part of our day is over before most people get out of bed! Three year old gobbler with a 10" beard and 1 1/4" spurs! Congratulations on your first Tom and we can't wait to do it again next spring!

Friendly reminder that bear and elk application period is nearing it's end. Stop in today to apply!

Bear and elk application windows close next week! Even if you don't plan to hunt this year, you can choose to increase your odds for NEXT year. And if you aren't a hunter, let your hunting friends and family know not miss out.

Application can be done online through our website, the Michigan DNR Hunt Fish app or by visiting any license retailer.

The deadline to apply is June 1, 2026. Good luck!
