Today we took our magazines and maps and such to Treasures for Teachers. Such a great place to take unwanted but still usable items. They take clean milk jugs, plastic lids, extra paper, writing supplies, desk/office accessories, golf balls, fabric, magazines, art supplies, you name it. Anything a teacher preschool and up could maybe use in their classroom. Remember, many teachers have to buy their own decorations and often student supplies. Consider taking the short journey to this place (open Weds/Fris/Sats) before taking to Goodwill. And if you are in the East Valley, there is one south of the Broadway curve in Tempe. This is the perfect time to take stuff because new teachers are getting contracts and collecting things for their classrooms. Teachers pay a small membership fee, and then get items at free or very cheap. I loved this place when I was a teacher. Thank you for supporting our Arizona teachers. ❤️
