🐾💚 Mission Monday Update: Max 💚🐾
When you shop or donate at Second Life, you become part of an animal's rescue story.
You may remember Max, formerly Bear, the terrier mix who had a difficult time trusting after a hard start to life. Today, we're excited to share an update ❤️
When Max first arrived at Hootie's Haven Animal Rescue Inc, he was underweight, frightened, and completely shut down. The world had not been kind to him, and he struggled to trust the people around him.
"Thanks to the generous support from Second Life, we were able to send Max to training, where everything started to change. Has he learned his basic commands, he also learned something even more important— confidence. Instead of focusing on fear and uncertainty, Max began focusing on learning, growing, and trusting... and that's when his true personality started to shine.
Today, Max is living his dream life— adopted into a loving home where he is cherished beyond measure. From shut down to shining bright, Max's journey is a reminder that every dog deserves a second chance… And sometimes, that's all they need."
