Summer shoe trend watch: fisherman sandals (and other throwback pairs) are back.

We loved this note from Lena Dunham + The RealReal on the season’s most intriguing shoe trends- “fisherman sandals with a twist,” plus a few other nostalgic styles.

Our OMTC tip: when you spot a great pair secondhand, check these three things before you commit:
1) Soles (even wear, no dry rot)
2) Straps/stitching (tug test)
3) Footbed (no deep cracks, easy to sanitize)

If you’ve been eyeing the trend but don’t love paying full-price for “right now” shoes, secondhand is the sweet spot.

If your summer plans include backyard dinners, porch party’s, or a last-minute “come over for a drink” text… this is your sign to find a great party table at One More Time Consignment.

Country Living says “Euro summer-themed accents” are having a moment - including colorful vintage glassware, hand-painted china, and vintage pitchers used as vases. (We love a trend you can find in our shop.)

What to look for on your next stop at One More Time:
• Colorful glasses (mix-and-match is the point)
• A punch bowl or drink tray for easy hosting
• A vintage pitcher that can do double-duty as a vase

Thrift tip: Older glass often has tiny “bubbles, ridges and ripples” that make it extra charming - and it’s a great clue you’ve found something with a little history.

When someone we love is nearing the end of their life or when we're quietly thinking about our own - there's so much more to carry than grief.

We know, because we've stood in a lot of homes alongside families who didn't know where to start. We've watched good people search for hours for a single piece of paper. We've seen families guess at what their mom would have wanted, because no one ever wrote it down.

When the day comes that someone passes, the people left behind won't be searching in the dark. They'll have your words, your wishes, and a little less to figure out alone.

It's written to be filled in slowly, at your own pace. There is no wrong way to use it. There is no rush.

This isn't legal paperwork, and it isn't something we're selling. It's just ours to give - to the families we've met, the neighbors we've worked alongside, and anyone out there who wants to plan.

Our hearts are with the Riverside Elementary and West families during this incredibly difficult time.

We do not personally know the family involved, but as a local business and part of this community, we wanted to help share their story and bring more awareness to the support being organized for Pat Moore, his children, and his fiancée, Christina Rutkosky.

A benefit co****le tournament is being held on June 14th, and baskets or gift cards are being accepted to help raise money for the family.
