The Paper Peddler For 46 years, our bookstore was a beloved part of the Avalon community. We maintain this page in hon Customers remark that the Paper Peddler is a unique store.

Not only can customers buy a newspaper, magazine, book, or lottery ticket, but they can join interesting discussions happening at the counter or in the bookstacks. Many remember the store from their youth and often return to inquire about changes in the town or to reminisce about their childhoods spent at the shore. g, can't-put-it-down read. Need a special book not in our collection? We will order it. In most cases your book will arrive in 1 - 3 business days. We make a tremendous effort to feature the writing and artwork of local artists, often holding book signings in front of the store. In addition, book clubs, veterans, and teachers receive a special discount in honor of their services to their country and their promotion of literacy. Ours is the only store on the island to carry t-shirts decorated with the artwork of the yearly Avalon beach tag. Many customers have collected them throughout the years. So, if you are looking for supplies to accomodate a day of relaxation, come to the Paper Peddler, select a good read, include a bottle of sunscreen, a snack, and a beverage, and grab a lottery ticket for good luck.
