This no name violin came in with multiple separations, and multiple top cracks. The prior restoration was done well by Sachiko Kolden an apprentice with Gregory Krone from New Haven Missouri. It appears the separation was heat caused as some of the finish shows signs of sun damage and fogging.

Working on a Martin with a top Crack right at the pick guard. This happened a lot with the Martin's and the type of pick guard they used in the 70s. The top shrinks and the pick guard doesn't causing the Crack.
