WINGMAN WEDNESDAY

This week’s Wingman Wednesday duo features C/Farnham and C/Cotten. They are both two AS100s who have been absolutely crushing PT and LLAB. From scoring fast run times on the PFA and performing excellent drill, they are doing it all!

WEEKLY RECAP

Many events happened this week at Det 825! First off the wing had the Fall PFA which includes 2 minutes of hand-release push-ups, 1 minute of sit-ups, followed by a 2-mile run.

At LLAB, BCs began road guard procedures, while BCLs tackled more complex drill such as column of files and column of threes.

Always stay motivated!

The A in MCA stands for Airmen… and actors!

WINGMAN WEDNESDAY

Hello C/Garcia-Gallegos and C/Rodriguez! They are the Wingman Wednesday for this week! Both are AS500s who have contributed to the wing by uplifting morale and have exemplified excellent teamwork in their respective flights by helping with drill.

AS400s had the opportunity to meet Under Secretary of the Air Force Matthew L. Lohmeier at the Pentagon this week. Cadets were also able to tour Chief of Staff of the Air Force General Kenneth S. Wilsbach’s office and ask his team questions. The Press Briefing room as another highlight, where cadets received mentorship from LTC Ganoni, an Army Public Affairs Officer. Additionally, five officers in multiple different fields, including the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Secretary of the Air Force offices, came to mentor cadets over lunch.

Thank you to all who made our Pentagon visit extraordinary!

SENIOR TRIP🏛️

This weekend, the AS400 class traveled to Washington, D.C. for a staff ride. Cadets learned strategy and leadership decision-making through touring the fields of Gettysburg, viewed the constitution close-up, toured our nations iconic monuments, and took a tour of the Pentagon, complete with a meeting with the Under Secretary of the Air Force.

Thank you to the generous donors to Detachment 825 who made this unforgettable trip possible for future Air and Space force leaders.
