In 2020 I placed an order for 2 quilts for kids. I thought the pandemic would allow me some free time home with my kids. Little did I know at the time I would become an essential worker and have to work extra hard when I got home to make sure that my kids were learning what they were supposed to at school and still have my regular daily home life… I got quarantined away from my children in my own home twice so I couldn’t even move my sewing machine and stuff into my room let alone consider sewing. I made masks when I could… Anyway, I ended up selling my NC house. My household goods lived in storage for eight months, and I finally got my house in Texas. It took me about a year and change to get to a point where I could sew again. So I started the first of these two quotes in December and I finished it in July. The 2nd I started on the 17th and I finished today… I am finally going to send these quotes off for donation, better late than never
