I fell in love with vintage Hawaiian fabric after my first trip to the Kauai. Since that time, that love affair has deepened into a desire to produce one-of-a-kind creations made from 60's and 70's fabrics. I began making handbags in early 2011 and expanded into pillow covers at a friend's urging later that year. I found that people love to surround themselves with unique decor that cannot be boug

ht at any mass produced big box store. These fantastic fabrics have come courtesy of vintage muumuus or dresses, estate sale finds and the occasional foray into my Mom's sewing closet. Mod fabrics were a natural addition because of: (1) my love of 60's and 70's television shows, (2) the fact it often times crossed over into Hawaiian dress fabrics, and (3) the amazing bright colors and eye catching designs. Each fabric is carefully selected for maximum wow factor. These are not fabrics that can be found just anywhere and because of their limited supply, once they're gone I may never find them again. This ensures each customer will always enjoy a one-of-a-kind handbag or pillow cover that none of their friends will ever have. I'm a bit of a perfectionist. Each item is lovingly crafted and held to my own high standards. If I wouldn't carry it or display it in my own home, I will never sell it.
