It is with a heavy heart that we announce our Television Service Center division is shutting down after 72 years of repairing televisions for the citizens of Austin. Bond’s will continue to operate the Custom Audio/Video Installation and Home Integration division. All customer products currently at our service center in the process of repairs will be completed and returned to our customers.

We will greatly miss our valiant and steadfast Service Manager, Elvis Lamb, who has worked hard to preserve the Bond’s TV service legacy for over 50 years of dedication. While this was a sudden, unexpected turn of events, this decision was not made lightly. Our main concern is his health and well-being, and we ask that you keep him in your thoughts & prayers as he follows the road to recovery and retirement. He is one of the reasons our company has been so successful and words cannot express how thankful we are for his hard work, dedication and expertise. As Mr. Bond would say, he is “my right hand man” whose shoes no one else could fill. Thank you Elvis, we love you!

Coat racks are something most people would agree are useful to have, but when it comes to A/V racks, people don’t always see the benefit. However, your audio, video, home automation and networking equipment is a lot more expensive than a typical coat, so it makes sense to have a dedicated spot for it. Having adequate ventilation and proper configuration for your equipment is crucial to optimal system performance. Not only will it be more organized and easier to access, it will be out of reach from meddling pets or curious toddlers — especially when unplugging a cord or pressing a button could potentially cause a system outage ‼️

Unfortunately, a universal remote control doesn’t work on fixing life’s problems, but it does simplify your A/V system and save you the headache of juggling multiple remotes.
