If you are a bibliophile like myself, then you find it impossible to discard a book re: paperbacks. Then there are some really amazing stories that will only ever be printed in paperback. So you probably have a pile or stack of paperback books hiding somewhere or maybe they are drowning in a conventional bookcase, (which is 12" deep). e. If your like me, building it yourself would give your books the respect they deserve. On day I was hanging out with one of my favorite woodsmiths, (and yes I know several woodsmiths) and I told about my dream. Without hesitation he turned my dream into a reality in about two hours. It happened so quickly I managed to get two designs out of him. Now known as Little Man and Fat Boy these custom bookcases have exceeded my every wish in paperback book display. These bookcases will last for hundreds of years. As a matter of fact I told him he should sell these bookcases since the quality was so exceptional. He told me if I handle the promotion and administration that he would... and that is how Paperback Place was born. The Little Man is a 24x35 inch custom Paperback Bookcase. Handmade in Austin Texas by a professional woodsmith. This bookcase can hold around 100 paperback books. The self height is 8 1/4" and is just high enough to rock the book out of its place and NOT hit the shelf above. The self depth is 4 3/4" which is just deep enough so that standard paperback books are flush and can be easily seen
