Beginner, intermediate, advanced and children's guitar lessons are offered. I have over eight years of experience as a music teacher and have worked as a kids rock camp coach. I have been a professional musician and guitar player for 25 years, since I was eight years old. I bring this vast experience to my guitar lessons. I'd love to help anybody who's a serious blues and rock lover. In customized music lessons, I'll help you to develop your "ear" so you can learn from all the great recordings, teach you all the basics of playing if you're a beginner, and teach you more serious stuff if you're already a player. No reading charts here. The best part is having a blast playing like your heroes! I look forward to meeting all of you future guitar slingers! I had a great time hanging virtually with my friend, the always amazing and dry-humored Joe Bonamassa. Instead of an "interview", we ended up talking about our vintage guitar obsessions for an hour and a half! We swapped great stories sharing our similar upbringings of playing guitar professionally starting at a very young age in the music biz. I probably first met Joe during his 'Bloodline' tour in the 90's, at the old Antone's on Guadalupe St. here in Austin, TX. Joe is of course considered a living legend in the Blues Rock world. Such a badass riff off of Junior Wells 1965 debut album "Hoodoo Man Blues". My man Buddy Guy layin' it down! This is one of the great classic Chicago Blues albums that everybody needs to know. Junior Wells was the Sh*t! I used to play a lot with Buddy Guy when I was a kid, and used to see Junior Wells perform as well at the old Antone's here in Austin, TX. Have fun learning this one and make sure you play it along with the recording to get the timing down. Peace and Love Y'all!
