We’re excited to welcome Ngozi Ukazu to Austin Books & Comics for a signing of her new graphic novel, Orion!

You may know Ngozi from “Check, Please!” or “Barda,” and now she’s taking on one of Jack Kirby’s most iconic characters. Orion follows the son of Darkseid as he struggles with destiny, identity, and whether he can escape the darkness he was born into.

Take a breath and hang on… the newest installment of Absolute Wonder Woman hits shelves, Dr. Doom is EVERYWHERE causing trouble (and gracing some amazing Magic cards!), Co**se Knight and Red Roots are indy titles not to miss, Wolverine has a serious problem, and the new Venom is not messing around.

MASSIVE HE-MAN COLLECTION AVAILABLE NOW!

We acquired the most powerful MOTU collection in the universe. Ok, we can’t back that up, but it is a SIGNIFICANT collection of Masters of the Universe classics. Our gaming store looks like Eternia right now.

If you are a He-Man fan, this is your chance to add to your collection. But don’t wait, as Skeletor and his crew may buy these out from underneath you!

These figures are available in store only for the time being. We will move them online at a later time.

This collection is predominately MOTU classic figures. This is NOT a vintage 80’s collection. There are a few Four Horsmen figures in here as well.

YOU KNOW WHAT DAY IT IS?

Yeah, hump day, but more importantly, NEW COMIC DAY!

So if you didn’t get your pull list in, there is still time. And if you want to skip the pull list and head straight for the store, that is quite alright.

This week is NOT to be missed. Absolute Catwoman #1, Daredevil’s new chapter, He-Man is back (seriously, go see that movie), Batman: Gargoyle of Gotham (not a comic, this is art!), Bishop, Youngblood 100 (and they said it wouldn’t last. 😁), and so many more.

Not too late to get the pull in or to stop by the store. But don’t wait, like all good things, there are only so many copies to go around!

THESE COVERS?!?! And that is just the tip of the iceberg.

Great stories, great art. This week is on fire. Absolute Green Lantern (seriously, these Absolute books shouldn’t be this good.). X-Men ‘97 is back (yes!), Matt Fraction’s Batman, Spidey, Rook: Exodus, and the Transformers: The Movie #1 (we are still scarred from the movie). And as we said, this is just a taste of the week. Get those pull lists in, or come in on Wednesday and pick up these new hot titles.
