Father's Day 🕊️ I understand your longing, missing, and needing your dad. Your broken heart and the emptiness you feel are valid. It's natural to need one more moment, one more conversation, and the warmth of his advice and protective love.
During this time, it's alright to wear a mask of a fake smile, to force laughter, and to go through the motions on autopilot. But remember, whether it's today or tomorrow, there will come a time when you can allow yourself to step away from that automatic response and truly feel. It's a process, and it's okay to take the time you need to heal.
Please know that your feelings are understood and shared by others who have experienced a similar loss. Reach out to those who can offer support and understanding. And remember, your dad's love and influence will always be a part of you. Take this day to honor his memory in your own way, and allow yourself the space to grieve and find healing.
