Around 7 years ago, a friend (Kim) at the Steel Mountain Handpan Gathering expressed her desire for a solution to placing a handpan nearly on a flat surface while still keeping it elevated just enough to maintain its sound. Upon returning from that trip, I came up with this design, but never got around to actually machining it.

Well, the other day, I finally brought the design into the real world! It folds up into an easy to carry form factor and is super lightweight. Just about any sized handpan works with it too.

So, now I ask, who would be interested in this? Let me know!
