Next up on our SMALL TOWN SPOTLIGHT is a longtime Aurora favorite that holds so many memories for our community… MO-NETS! ❤️
Today, Diane Epp owns and operates Mo-Nets, continuing the story of a little downtown store that has been part of Aurora for many years. If you haven’t stopped in lately, you should—Mo-Nets is still OPEN! 🛍️
For longtime Aurora residents, Mo-Nets is more than just a store. For years, Lorie Wadell and Barb Person, were the sister team than owned and operated Mo-Nets and were familiar faces to generations of shoppers.
And they weren’t alone! Over the years, so many local ladies worked at Mo-Nets, making it one of those special small-town places where you didn’t just go to shop—you went to visit, catch up and see a familiar face. I was lucky enough to be one of those ladies who worked at Mo-Nets, and I have so many wonderful memories from my time there. ❤️ Looking back at the picture below, of the ladies who worked there, reminds me just how many friendships and memories were made within those walls.
Today, Diane is keeping this longtime Aurora business going, and there are some GREAT bargains waiting inside!
