Lots of details need to be carefully made for the pieces to fit together. Lucky we've had dry weather that helps me get about a month worth of work done in a very short period of time. As wood filler is sanded, guide holes drilled, infernal supports reinforced, handles cut to make sure it's weighted to not knock knees or fall to one side, and then the stain.

It's pretty soon will be playing crushing riffs on this hand built 2x12 cabinet soon.

The next part is when this really takes shape.

Here are some earlier progress photos on the build for - this part is the hardest of the build, especially in this weird year we've had of storms, heat, & excessive humidity. 💧 🔥 I'm recently able to make everything fit as planned with the lower temps and it is looking incredible.

This build features 3/4" Baltic birch, detachable casters, big stoppers for ultimate resonance, removable grill for recording session easy mic adjustment, and Marshall style handles made to be easy on your wrists with better placement so no knees get knocked when you play 2nd and 3rd story shows (or go back to the apartment after load-out).

It was great seeing a regular Ault Amplification player last night in the band Harvested Denver trying out the new Orange head 🎸🍊 on a cold Fort Collins Thursday. I'm looking forward to hearing it through our cabs!

Speaker holes are cut to allow for interior or front loading. Time to paint.

While there will be some wood imperfections that will need to be seemed up, a general 200 grit sand is carefully given to the Baltic birch box. Handle holes are cut and interior reinforcement (still birch) is added to allow the speaker bezel and back to seem tightly for low end resonance and chug tightness.

Several units are made from the larger cuts of Baltic birch. Next box joints are cut and the beast takes form.
