This is my fabulous grandmother Irene. I never got to meet her since she died when my dad was just 15 years old. But everything I’ve ever heard about her makes me want to be just like her. She married my granddad on Valentines Day, right after WWII ended. She gave birth to 6 kids, 3 of them triplets. She moved to central Europe with a toddler, via ship, to meet up with my granddad who was stationed there in the late ‘40s. She traveled. She threw the best parties. She was a wonderful mom and friend. And obviously she was gorgeous.⠀⠀
Love hard this Valentines Day. You never know how long you have with those around you and how much of an impact you may make on those you never meet. ❤️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
