The seller's worst nightmare—the buyer backs out of a sale!

It happens all the time, but there are ways to avoid it. Here are some helpful tips for keeping your buyers happy and on board with you:

1. Make sure to communicate about the house's condition and any major repairs that need to be made before the closing date. If there is anything that needs to be fixed before the buyer takes ownership of the property, make sure you know about it well in advance. Never keep this information from them!
2. Don't forget to get a home inspection done as soon as possible after signing on as a seller. You'll want to know if there are any major issues with your house before they become problems with potential buyers!
3. Be transparent when it comes to how long you've been living in the house.
