This rod is built with the inspiration of my dads rod. I used some of the extra decorative abalone shell and the rest are components he picked out for his rod that we couldn’t use along with his handwriting of “I Love You”. And the reel he gave me for my birthday when I turned 18 just so happened to match. Hopefully she brings good luck and big fish.
