Wendell Packard opened The Auburn Musician in 1976 at the urging of several local musicians and music teachers. Wendell has been the sole owner and manager of The Auburn Musician since then. He was joined in 1992 by his wife Brigitte, who since 2004 been certified in band and orchestral instrument repair and service.
