Thank you to for inviting us to be part of the first AgriVenture in our community!🌾 This week, a fantastic partnership between Enumclaw Expo Center & the Enumclaw School District brought over 700 local 4th & 5th grade students out for an unforgettable field trip where kids had a chance to learn about local agriculture in a really fun way. They visited 13 different exhibits, hearing from area farmers & ranchers, and learning how agriculture touches every part of our lives. King County is a unique place, in that it is the most populated county in Washington (hello, Seattle 👋🏼), while also having strong agricultural roots + excellent farmlands & conditions for raising crops & livestock. Agriculture in this rapidly growing area is just so valuable, and it’s important to help people understand why farms and ranches here still matter.

Keith had the opportunity to partner with another local farm and share about beef cattle - Keith on his horse, Jeremy on his quad, & 2 beautiful Red Angus heifers on display by in the livestock arena. He certainly has a new respect for teachers after leading about 25 - 15 minute sessions over the course of 2 days.😂 I had the chance to bounce around to the different exhibits, watching kids learn & even sample things like French fries from & milk from . It was all just a great mix of learning and fun - a truly valuable experience that I know inspired a new curiosity in kids who may just choose farm or ranch life one day for their own families.💚💛

How about a Mother’s Day weekend GIVEAWAY🌼 to honor our friend Brianna of as she begins to walk the road of recovery after a recent diagnosis with Guillain-Barré syndrome?

Brianna & her family are fellow ranchers in WA State & we’ve been watching & praying these past few weeks as she has shared about her mysteriously declining health. Just over a week ago, she was admitted to Harborview Medical Center for quite an intense stay. Brianna is back home on the farm this weekend, and what a blessing to learn that her condition is reversible, but there’s no answer as to what the road to recovery may look like, and their family is in need of support.

We’re giving away TWO boxes of Widnor Farms ranch-raised meats, each valued at $250, at the end of this weekend! One winner will be chosen on Instagram, and one winner on Facebook. Winners will get to choose their own customized box from Widnor’s available inventory!

HOW TO ENTER: 1. Tag TWO friends in your comment that need to know about this giveaway. 2. Leave an encouraging message for Brianna 3. Instagram friends, share to your Stories for an extra entry. And that’s it! Thank you in advance for being part of our giveaway!💕

When ranching in Montana started to become a reality, a flood of uncertainties filled my mind. Among them was the worry that I may have to give up my favorite view of majestic Mount Rainier from our house in Washington, at least part of the time. It never occurred to me that God might provide something so incredibly beautiful at the new ranch. And I certainly never thought to pray for it.

These hills to the west are now my view when I’m at the Montana ranch. The other night, as I was making dinner & then cleaning up the kitchen, I took these 3 pictures at 5pm, 6pm, & 7pm. This window view feels more like a living piece of art. We watch the weather roll in, deer & fox off in the distance, cattle & horses up closer. The goings-on of the ranch can be seen from this spot, and the changing of seasons are evident in the hills, too. They aren’t Mount Rainier, but this scene is remarkable in a different way, and more than I ever could’ve asked for.

As I watch the mornings take shape & night falling in this place, I’m often reminded that God does indeed want to hear all my requests. Nothing on our hearts is unimportant to Him. In this case, He answered a prayer I didn’t even think to ask.❤️

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”

Bull sale day was two weeks ago already & feels like yesterday. We’re sure thankful to have worked together with the Feddes & C-T Red Angus families selling our bulls all these years. Relationships are everything. Here’s your reminder to keep moving forward on that dream God has placed on your heart, even if it seems too difficult, or like progress is too slow right now. God is at work making progress FOR you as you continue to follow and trust Him!❤️

•Bull sale day is busy for Keith. He’s a seller answering questions about our bulls, a buyer shopping for bulls for both our purebred & commercial herds, and he’s helping others to choose bulls which includes bidding for them too. I don’t know how he wears so many hats that day, but he does it well! I always try to grab a photo of us first thing in the morning and then we talk again at the end of the day.🤣❤️
•Kyle Shobe is our Sunday night entertainment & Monday auctioneer. If you know Kyle, you’ll agree he’s just the best!
•Woke up to this Rocky Mountain view 🤩on sale day from the second story bedroom at . Wow!
•Pens are quiet early on sale day, & soon will be filled with buyers previewing the bulls.
•Feed wagon coming through.
•The Clark family - Ryan, Lindsey & kids - own & operate Clark Red Angus out of Fishtail, MT. Like us, they’ve partnered in this sale for many years & they are the just wonderful people! I’ve loved watching their family grow from 2 to 5 over the years.
•Julie of traveled from WA to buy bulls. Although she is my friend from Washington, I think we see each other more often in Montana.🙃
•The shop at Feddes Red Angus doubles as the auction facility. It’s always a packed house, with family, friends, lookers & buyers from near & far.
• Everyone getting settled as the sale gets ready to kick off.
•Last 60 seconds of the Lot 1 bull selling. He was the high-selling bull at $50,000. 166 bulls were sold this year, averaging $10,530.

Eight years ago this week I shared our first Instagram story after a friend in the agriculture industry suggested this platform would be a great way to show some behind the scenes of our first generation purebred Red Angus ranch in Washington. Our family sure has grown up since those days!

At that time our boys were 18, 15, & 11. I think enough time has passed that I can now say, in regards to social media, I’ll always consider surviving the harsh criticism of my teenagers one of my greatest achievements.😂Likewise, they’d probably tell you surviving the embarrassment of a mom on social media is one of theirs.🤣 But somehow we all made it through & I’m still over here sharing, although not as often as I once did.

What began as a small Red Angus herd in 2005, became a bit larger herd by the time I began telling our ranch story in 2018. We produced & sold hay, custom farmed, & I opened an online Ranch Goods store, in addition to our construction business. These days, much of our growing ranch operation has moved to Montana - Keith’s life dream - and we continue to raise steers, run construction & other business out of Washington. My behind the scenes work has shifted, & I’m not yet sure of my current title; logistics coordinator, or possibly Keith-chaser. 🏃🏼‍♀️ Each day is a new race to run, & it’s a real joy to be blessed with many opportunities.

Whether you’ve been along on the ride with us since the trail began, or you joined along the way, thanks for being here in our little corner of the world.❤️

And thx to for capturing our life over the years. These ones from 2018 & 2025. 📸

Calving season is upon us at the Montana ranch. Winter so far has been relatively warm and mild; makes me wonder if the second half of winter is going to make up for the first.🥶 Twenty-some calves have been born to date, & we’re looking forward to taking you along in the coming days.

These beautiful, snowy images are a glimpse of last calving season. It’s a beautiful, exhausting time of year where day blends into night and then back into the next day, as cows & heifers are checked ‘round the clock. Our entire herd of both purebred Red Angus & commercial cattle are all in Montana now - this is a good thing for calving season, to have all efforts focused at one location.

Say YES to the things that are of value.
Say NO to the things that are not.

It sounds like such a simple concept — yet it’s something we have to practice intentionally in a world full of noise and wasteful distractions. Our time and resources are incredibly precious, and if we don’t choose to be selective, life will choose for us. When we protect what matters, the quality of our life improves.🤍

Good news from the Montana ranch last night - our first calf of the year was born! Especially thankful for our hired man Travis as this very busy time of year is officially underway.

📸 captured this new calf during the 2025 calving season.
