Hi Everyone, great news from Auburn Rec!!!



I’m excited to announce that we are offering craft nights again this summer at the ASCC with a couple of changes. First, we have expanded the timeframe to 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM since many of you work and can’t make it here right at 5:30 PM. The second, is that we are asking you to register for a month at a time to help us plan for staffing. The cost remains free for our Auburn residents and there is a $10.00 monthly fee for non-residents. Great news everyone! Jamie called Lyn yesterday to say they have a start date for us to go back to our craft night on Thursdays, September 17th 5:30-7:30. They will start taking online registrations next week and if you follow the Auburn Rec page on Facebook you can register there or go to the Auburn Recreation Department website to register, just make sure it’s Auburn Maine. We will be required to put our contact information on the registration form for contact tracing in case there are any cases of COVID-19 in our group. The tables are eight feet long so we will be able to socially distance ourselves, masks will be required and they will have hand sanitizer available. Two people per table, one on either end and for those of us with an oversized rug, like myself, they will put two tables together. See you all on the 17th.

Hello all. The Auburn Rec has closed all its facilities until March 30. The next Thursday for us will be April 2 but things remain very fluid so I will check in with Jamie to get any updates as it gets closer. Reggie just got an email that the basketball games are cancelled so I decided to check in with Jamie. I will keep you informed. Stay healthy and see you all on the other side 🙂 Lyn
