This week we’re excited to spotlight Kraken Wash LLC!

Based out of Aubrey, Texas, Kraken Wash creates organic, vegan soaps and bath products for both men and women. Owner Michael has been perfecting his craft for over five years, building a brand focused on quality, skin-friendly ingredients, and a memorable experience with every product.

The name Kraken Wash comes from Michael’s love of all things nautical, and he thought it would be a fun and unique name that people would remember. But the heart behind the business goes deeper than that. After struggling for years to find products that worked well for his sensitive skin, Michael decided to start creating his own. What began as a personal solution quickly turned into something more when people kept telling him how great his products smelled and encouraged him to start selling them.

Every product from Kraken Wash is handmade by Michael himself, and he runs the business 100% on his own—a completely self-taught venture that has grown through passion and dedication.

When asked about his favorite product, Michael said it’s a tough choice since he uses them all, but if he had to pick, it would be either the pomade or the soap. What really sets Kraken Wash apart, though, is that customers aren’t just getting a high-quality product—they’re getting an experience.

Running Kraken Wash is a full-time business, and although most of his days are spent working, when he does find free time Michael enjoys going to car shows and driving his Corvette.

One of the things he enjoys most about the Melissa Farmers Market is the welcoming environment. According to Michael, everyone is always friendly and smiling, there’s a great flow of traffic, and it’s an affordable place for vendors to connect with the community.
